I just started my month 2 workouts.... I was walking over to the bathroom and put my hands on my hips and my love handles are sore! I think it was those windmills! Wow! I just have to say how much I LOVE the workouts. I look forward to them on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Last month's workouts made me SO strong! We took a trip to Moab for the last week of October and I noticed a difference. My core has never been this strong. I feel like my balance on the bike is better than ever and I'm 47 (48 in March ). My fave workout was month 1, day 3. Those monster mashers are the best! Love them! And.. I can't get over how out of breath I am doing the Turkish getups.
Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU, Bekah! I am SO going to want another 3 months after the New Year.
Thank you for being a part of me getting stronger in my late 40s.

I am now without a doubt the strongest, leanest and fittest since having kids.
I have always been good about getting in hours on the bike and eating a fairly healthy diet. Strength training was the big missing link in my fitness routine.
I've been training with Bekah for the past 2.5 years. Before, I was doing a HIIT style cycling class 2 days/week. I felt sluggish on the bike and had gained some weight.
After my first 6 months, I took a trip to Moab with my family and was amazed at how physically fit I felt. I had the strength to clean technical climbing moves I hadn't cleaned the previous trip. Coming into year two, I worked directly with Bekah to add in some nutrition guidance. I am now without a doubt the strongest, leanest and fittest since having kids.

I haven't had a lot of luck with strength training in the past. My usual experience is to start really enthusiastic but peter out after a couple of workouts due to boredom, lack of time, or distraction. I've been training with Bekah for 6+ months now and still going strong.
The difference? Previously I would spend too much time wondering what exercises to do, or I would get bored doing the same workout over and over. Not with Brave Endeavors. Each month Bekah sends out a carefully crafted workout regimen, complete with descriptions and instructional videos. All I have to do is show up.
This has been huge for me. Each month brings new challenges and variety - it keeps working out fun and interesting. And I can trust Bekah to design a well balanced regimen to avoid overuse injuries. I've already noticed the difference. I feel better. I feel stronger. My back doesn't hurt. My riding is stronger than ever!

After training with Bekah, mountain biking felt like a different sport!
I was able to maneuver my bike without forcing it, my balance and confidence had reached new heights, and I had an entirely new connection with my body and its capabilities.

Since starting Bekah's program I've noticed a significant difference in the way I handle my bike. A lot of the leg work has really helped my stability and strength while descending for long periods of time; I race enduro, so being able to use these muscles for sustained periods of downhill sections has been massively helpful to me. My core strength has also increased dramatically which helps on my climbs as well as descents. My body is a lot tighter and more efficient than when I trained simply on the bike.

Low back pain was significantly reduced, average watts over endurance rides increased, in addition to my bike handling. I specifically enjoy the core strengthening exercises without doing repetitive crunches and the efficiency of the program which gets me in an out of the gym in one hour.

I have been on several strength programs in the past and have never been able to stick with them because they were not tailored to my lifestyle. Bekah’s programs keep me constantly engaged due to their progressive nature and small changes that produce big results!

I thought someone had swapped my bike for an e-bike! I felt so strong after 3 months on the BE program!

I used to not only fear, but HATE switchbacks. After 1 month I not only made it around 1 of my switchback nemeses, but all 5 on a single trail!!
At that moment, all my fear, anxiety, and most importantly, hatred I had felt towards switchbacks melted off me, and it all turned to gratitude - gratitude towards Bekah, towards myself, and towards this trail for pushing me to get better. The feeling was magical!
